What are my responsibilities? You will actively safeguard and promote the welfare of our children and young people who live in the home. To support across the home, working with the Registered Manager to provide the best possible care for our young people. As a Senior Support Worker, you will provide high quality childcare practice, within Aspris Care’s philosophy, underpinned by a Person-Centred Values therapeutic approach. What we ask from you: Minimum 18 months or more experience working within a residential setting. Achieved your Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma (Residential Childcare) or equivalent Ability to interact with a range of people/young people. Confidence and ability to lead a team of Support Workers. To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people. Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour. Shift work including weekends, evenings, and sleep-in duties on a rota system. Full driving licence is essential.
