Senior Support Worker Children

We are urgently seeking 2 Senior Support Workers for a children's residential home/Supported accommodation based in Acocks Green. You will need to have experience working within Children's residential homes. Shift pattern as follows: 7 days on 7.30am-10pm 2 days off 5 sleep-ins per month 11pm-8am This role will require the successful candidates to have the following credentials: Responsible to the Registered Manager for the day-to-day duties within the home and the care and support of the residents. Implement and follow the home's operational policies and care practice standards. Be the lead person on shift responsible for the safety and support of the young people in the home. Provide and ensure that care is within a warm and supportive atmosphere. Implement individual care plans to ensure the welfare of each individual resident, contributing to the assessment of needs and planning of care. Participate in client reviews and prepare reports. Contribute to records regarding individual residents and ensure client confidentiality in record keeping and discussions. Enable residents to live a full and active life by planning and arranging social and recreational activities within the home and local community. Experience with challenging behaviour. Level 3 in Health and Social Care or Residential or equivalent. Connaught Resourcing operates as an Employment Business and an Employment Agency.
