Do you have a genuine love and demonstrable experience for caring and interacting with others? Are you experienced in Complex Care in relation to a spinal injury? Do you have an NVQ level 3 or working towards? This is a great opportunity for experienced support workers to join a well-established company. Working with a gentleman in his own home, we are looking for a Senior Support Worker who has spinal injury experience and the ability to manage complex care needs. It is vital that you are available to work both days and nights as required. Responsibilities include: Personal care Domestic duties around the home Support with social activities Medication Administration Tracheostomy Care Ventilation Care Support the day-to-day running of the team Stand in for other staff members in an emergency, at short notice if required The ideal candidate will have: A compassionate and caring nature, with the ability to build a good rapport Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to follow instructions and work independently Flexibility to provide cover when needed Previous experience in a support worker role is essential Experience in spinal injuries and complex care in relation to tracheostomy care Full clean UK driving licence Community Rehabilitation Management Ltd (CRM) is a Case Management Consultancy with a difference; the Managing Director is a qualified neuro nurse and leads her team of Care and Case Managers with experience and thorough directorship.
