Full-Time We are an established provider of residential children's services, specializing in solo placements for children facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges. We are looking for a compassionate, empathetic, and driven Senior Support Worker to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with a small team to deliver tailored care plans. Foster a nurturing environment for children to grow socially and emotionally. Understand the child’s background, trauma, and behaviors. Lead shifts, supervise junior staff, and ensure the delivery of care in line with OFSTED standards. Monitor behavior, assess risks, and update care plans. Administer medication and liaise with healthcare professionals. Ensure accurate record-keeping and hold staff accountable to performance standards. Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. At least 18 months’ experience in residential children's care. A full UK driver’s license. Physical fitness for manual handling tasks. Ability to work a mix of day and night shifts, and be part of the on-call rota. Benefits: Competitive pay (£13.00 - £14.00 per hour, with a planned increase in January).
