Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people? Connect2SocialWork is looking for a dedicated Senior Support Worker/Team Leader for a children's home in Herne Bay. You will be required to support the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose, as well as managing the staff team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people. The Senior Support Worker will also be responsible for planning shifts and ensuring that resources are allocated. REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent Knowledge of CHR and QS Knowledge of the Children Act and other relevant legislation 12 months relevant supervisory experience 12 months experience of working in a residential setting with challenging behaviour Excellent communication skills Ability to manage teams effectively RATE OF PAY:
