A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Care Assistant to work in an exceptional care home based in the Preston, Lancashire area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers. A beautifully appointed care home for service users located in a unique parkland setting in Bamber Bridge offers excellent residential care for those who live with dementia impacting their daily life. To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. As a Senior Care Assistant, your key duties include: Managing the care team within the Home. Ensuring that care staff adhere to CQC guidelines while providing exceptional levels of care to residents. Promoting and delivering high standards of care and supervision. Instructing less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care provided within the Home. The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Excellent communication and written skills. Previous experience working within an elderly care setting. Self-motivated, resilient, and well-organised. Team player but able to work on your own initiative. Dependable, able to work well under pressure, and flexible to meet the needs of the Home. Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly. The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary of £13.50 per hour, with an annual salary up to £30,888 per annum. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available.
