(Pro rata for part time roles) An opportunity to be part of a brand new service:

PIPS are developing a brand new service in Colburn. A development of 6 individual bungalows to support individuals to move into their own home. The service is currently being built and we are recruiting to support packages to commence transitions. Initially you might work with individuals in their current settings to get to know them prior to moving to their own home. Working with PIPS allows you to be a part of a team delivering great support and improving people’s quality of life. PIPS have created some amazing stories:

We have helped individuals to live fulfilling lives in their communities in homes of their own, often for the first time in their lives. We are just looking for People with the right values:

An ability to focus and build on people’s strengths, a supportive approach which promotes choice and independence, and a recognition that we are all equal with the same rights, needs, and dreams. The role involves:

Supporting people to live active lives in the community, managing their daily living skills, facilitating their hobbies and interests, and helping people realise their dreams! We provide person-centred individualised care with a focus on the model of Positive Behavioural Support (PBS). As a Senior Support Worker, you will be part of the leadership team, role modelling effective care and supporting both the team and the individuals themselves. What PIPS can do for you:

PIPS offer a competitive salary and benefits scheme including, for our Colburn service, a welcome payment and a travel allowance payment to support your travel to work. You will receive a 2-week induction and learn about PBS, understanding communication and behaviour, how to teach skills, and enable people to live the lifestyle that they wish! A workplace induction follows which enables you to learn how to support the individual in the way they wish. We have a leadership pathway for those who have the right ambition, skills, and aptitude which can take you from Support Worker to Team Leader and beyond! We have access to a staff benefits scheme and operate a team reward programme. We are committed to our team wellbeing and look at how we can support everyone to access ways of improving wellbeing. All applicants must have a permanent right to work in the UK.

For operational reasons, the company does not accept applicants with a temporary right to work.
