We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading Mile House Lane, our residential service in St Albans. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people! As a Senior Support Worker, you'll help people gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. Responsibilities include allocating shifts, booking training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervisions, ordering medication, and ensuring the people we support manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you chose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support. This is an amazing role for someone looking to make a difference in the lives of others, whether that’s helping our colleagues grow in confidence or supporting individuals to gain independence and meet their goals. We’re interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, as well as experience working with individuals with autism and challenging behaviours.
