Senior Support Worker
to provide care and support for children and young people, offering a safe and therapeutic environment. My client's home is situated within Stoke-on-Trent, where staff offer 24/7 support to those with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. Key Responsibilities: Offer emotional and practical support tailored to the unique needs of each child. This includes daily routines, personal care, and creating a safe, nurturing environment. Develop positive, trusting relationships with children, fostering a sense of belonging and providing them with guidance and support. Liaise with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and educational staff, to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to each child's care. Support and guide support workers, offering support, advice, and assisting with training and development. Model appropriate care techniques and responses to challenging behaviours. Requirements: Hold either a Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare OR equivalent Experience working within a Residential Children's Home Have a keen interest in making a difference to children and young people lives Full UK Driving Licence - Able to commute to Manchester Apply Today!
