Responsibilities : Work as part of a dedicated team of carers, collaborating in sub-teams to provide ongoing support to young people. Team Leaders or Seniors will guide and coordinate your work, with typical shifts involving 6-7 therapeutic carers. Safeguarding and boundary management are key responsibilities, supported by open communication and relationship-building to maintain low levels of incidents and referrals. The role is diverse, involving everything from mentoring and nurturing to engaging in activities like cooking, gaming, outdoor adventures, and more. Integrate with the on-site school and therapy teams within a therapeutic community framework, participating in reflection sessions to enhance your personal and professional growth. Requirements : QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent)

is essential. Previous experience in residential childcare is required, though our client will support you in adapting to their specialised practice model. Strong English and basic IT skills are required. Must have a full UK driving licence. A sense of humour, creativity, resilience, and a passion for working with young people are essential.
