About The Role Warrington Road is a vibrant residential care home for disabled adults with complex care needs in Widnes, Cheshire. Consisting of four three-bedroom bungalows, the home is situated in a quiet residential street and is the ideal location for access to local amenities. We provide a high level of support to enable them best to achieve their personal goals and reach their full potential and to live wonderfully normal lives in the community and their own home. The individuals we support at Warrington Road love all things arts and crafts and have taken part in the Salutem In Bloom competition, where they received a Special CEO Commendation! They love spending time in their garden, painting pebbles to put in their very own memory garden. They also love celebrating each other’s birthdays and planning and throwing parties for each other!
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll be instrumental in providing high-quality, enabling care, facing new challenges and rewards daily. Your leadership and expertise are key to our success. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed, person-centered support plans that promote health, wellbeing, relationships, and diversity, while ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. Implement robust activity plans that encourage autonomy, new experiences, and flexibility, regularly engaging with individuals to seek their views. Support individuals in financial planning, medication self-administration, and regular health reviews, adhering to the Mental Capacity Act principles. Tailor the environment to meet individual needs, ensuring Health and Safety policies, including Fire Safety, are followed. Recruit and manage staff through robust induction, supervision, and training processes, ensuring person-centered schedules and personal development plans. Deliver outstanding care and support by adhering to Salutem's Quality Assurance framework, embodying core values, and managing incidents according to policies.
