Support the RSK Group Sustainability Team and Group Climate Change Manager with the delivery of the RSK Group climate/carbon strategy and programme of works (as part of the wider RSK Group ‘Second Nature’ sustainability strategy). Assist with the technical delivery of RSK Group’s quarterly GHG assessments for FY25, with a planned transition to monthly reporting in FY26. Support the team in calculating carbon footprints for over 200 business units within the group. This includes Scope 1, Scope 2, and wider Scope 3 calculations (GHG Protocol/ISO 14001 standards) and preparing necessary documentation for external assurance. Provide 1:1 training and support for individual business units within the group on using RSK Group’s new carbon data collection system. Advise on submitting accurate carbon data and supporting evidence, ensuring the completeness and quality of submissions. Provide technical support in the ongoing development and improvement of RSK Group’s carbon data collection system, including developing data visualisation reports in Power BI to present results and insights. Support delivery against RSK Group’s Science-Based Targets, including tracking/monitoring emissions reductions in line with near-term and long-term targets. Support the delivery of RSK Group’s TPT-aligned Climate Transition Plan, Net Zero Roadmap, and wider decarbonisation initiatives. Assist with the preparation of data and documentation for sustainability reporting and disclosures, including CDP, CSRD, Ecovadis, ESOS, PAS2080, SECR, and TCFD frameworks and reporting standards. Monitor requests sent to RSK Group’s carbon reporting and sustainability inbox, providing support for bids and tender responses and assisting business units with required information. Essential
Education: BSc qualification in a relevant or related discipline, or demonstration of equivalent experience. Experience: Relevant years’ experience in a related role (consultancy and/or in-house) focused on delivering, measuring, and reporting on climate change and carbon initiatives. Technical Skills: Experience with and understanding of the GHG Protocol series, including the calculation and reporting of corporate carbon footprints (Scope 1, Scope 2 & Scope 3). Analytical/Excel Skills: Ability to clean, organise, and interpret complex datasets, perform data validation, and reconcile discrepancies. Proficient in advanced Excel functions, creating complex models, and presenting data insights to stakeholders. (Excel skills will be assessed during the recruitment process).
