We are looking for a passionate and experienced
Senior Sustainability Consultant
to join a growing team and drive sustainability strategies across diverse and exciting projects. Our client is a forward-thinking consultancy dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in the built environment. As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will: Lead sustainability initiatives across a wide range of projects, ensuring they meet ambitious environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives. Develop and implement sustainability strategies, including net-zero carbon pathways, biodiversity net gain, and circular economy principles. Provide expert advice on sustainable construction practices, materials, and technologies. Oversee building performance assessments, such as BREEAM, LEED, WELL, and energy modeling. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to embed sustainability from concept to delivery. Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development. Contribute to thought leadership in sustainability, including presentations, workshops, and publications.
To excel in this role, you will need: A degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in sustainability consultancy, ideally within the construction or built environment sectors. In-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., BREEAM, LEED, WELL) and relevant legislation. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. A passion for driving sustainable innovation and delivering measurable impact.
