Are you an experienced Sustainability Consultant looking for a challenge in Bath, London, Leeds, Manchester, or Edinburgh? Buro Happold is looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and passionate sustainability team and a chance to work on some iconic UK-based and global projects. Some of our recent projects include Dubai Expo, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh Opera House. Key Duties:

Manage the LEED/Estidama/WELL documentation process as well as project specifications, calculations, plans, and submittals for LEED/Estidama/WELL compliance. Lead the technical discussions about various sustainability topics with clients and provide necessary advice to secure compliance with the applicable sustainability certification and rating systems such as LEED, Estidama, WELL, SITES, etc. Job leader and client-facing role. Conduct sustainability certification assessments and support the implementation of the required strategies in the design. Task leadership and direction/mentorship of more junior team members. Production of technical guidance and analysis to influence and align to project sustainability strategies. Provide written comments and produce reports and presentations with excellent visual and grammatical quality. Work as part of multidisciplinary teams (including, but not limited to, attending meetings with architects, planners, government agencies, and clients). The candidate will be expected to work across numerous software platforms, including Microsoft Office and InDesign. Knowledge of OneClick LCA is beneficial. Understand and implement the principles of project management. Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in Architecture or MEP with a focus on sustainability within the built environment sector is desirable. LEED AP credential is required; other certification accreditations are beneficial. Proven experience of delivery and certified projects. The candidate must have a degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Architecture, or Environmental Science), with further post-graduate education desirable (e.g., Master's degree). Strong experience in Sustainability Certification and Rating Systems. Ability to communicate in an effective and confident manner, with experience producing high-quality graphical and written outputs. Working knowledge of sustainable design techniques, analysis, or modelling relevant to the construction industry or corporate strategies. Experience in undertaking technical analysis and the development of suitable responsive strategies. Strong facilitation and drive to deliver outstanding results.
