The role:
We are recruiting for a Senior Swimming Academy Co-ordinator to manage, deliver and maintain the required high standards for BH Live Active Swimming Academy across our Bournemouth BH Live Active centres. You will support the Swimming Academy Manager and Centre Managers in ensuring operational consistency and increased occupancy of the Swimming Academy across our leisure centres. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to our customers' lives and help them learn a life skill. Our Swimming Academy provides swimmers with a high level of water confidence, swimming techniques, and general water skills. All lessons are designed to mix education and safety with the fun side of swimming and work towards the Swim England National Plan. Rigorous checks will be made of the successful applicant’s background credentials, including an enhanced DBS check.

Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet the programming needs by carrying out recruitment and induction processes for all Bournemouth centres. Deal with any customer enquiries and complaints as necessary in a friendly and professional manner. Produce programmes and assist the Swimming Academy Manager in the development of the swimming lesson programmes. Supervise the administration and organisation of one-to-one lessons. Carry out programmed auditing on the swimming lesson administration, to include the pupil’s records of achievement, registers and booking screens. To be successful you will need:
A Swim England Level 2 Teachers qualification and ideally hold a Swim England Tutors Qualification. Previous practical hands-on experience of working as a swimming instructor. Excellent communication skills and have a passion for providing customer service. Be able to work unsocial hours, including evenings and/or weekends. About BH Live:
