Senior System Designer & Detailed Designer

Senior System Designer & Detailed Designer focuses on develop high-quality 2d and 3d detailed drawings.

What the role involves

• Develop high-quality 2D and 3D detailed drawings.
• Delivering drawings from concept stage through to manufacturing and installation.
• Develop bespoke façade systems.
• Preparing tender bay studies, including coordination with the Tender Department.
• Independently review and assess project requirements, including ERs and specifications.
• Coordinate technical solutions and issues.

Skills and requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a designer in the façade industry.
• Strong knowledge of standard stick systems, Unitised, doors, and windows.
• Experience with Revit and Inventor is advantageous but not essential.

Candidate fit

• Proactive team leader capable of training, mentoring, and managing a multi-disciplinary team.

Additional role context

• Define project deliverables in line with ASFD standards, project structure, and document registers, in coordination with the Technical Manager.
• Attend internal and external design workshops with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of building regulations and relevant standards, with a commitment to best practice.
