Info about what the Senior System Engineer Avionics role entails New customer facing role within this Tier2/3 business to lead systems engineering projects and processes. The ability to shape the way the client does systems engineering in a lead role which will grow as the team grows. Essential Requirements of the Senior System Engineer Avionics Degree qualified in Electrical / Electronics / Avionics or similar experience At least 2 years commercial experience in a System Engineering role A proven background in developing avionics in an aerospace / defence environment (familiar with Avionics Interface Protocols like ARINC etc) Willing to travel to customer sites across the UK and Europe Able to capture customer requirements, working closely with aerospace and defence primes to understand their requirements, capture requirements and translate these down to the business System requirements and design at the sub-system / component level - not at the large scale 'systems of systems' thinker level Able to secure SC security clearance Willing to be on site in the office for 3 days per week Desirable Requirements of the Senior System Engineer Avionics Full lifecycle systems engineering from requirements all the way to delivery Previous customer facing experience with prime contractors Benefits 9 Day working fortnight Hybrid working with flex start / finish times 25 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays Private Healthcare Salary exchanged pension scheme with enhanced company contributions Life assurance Employee assistance programme Confidential counselling services Paid compassionate leave and generous Company sick pay entitlement + others If you feel you are suitable and interested in this role, APPLY NOW with an up to date CV.
