The Senior Systems and Reporting Manager will be part of the new Project Services Centre of Excellence within SSEN Transmission and will play a critical role in driving and supporting the delivery of project services across Onshore, Offshore and Development Project teams. You'll have responsibility for the specification, development and maintenance of all project services systems and associated reporting requirements for the SSEN Transmission capital projects portfolio of Large Capital Projects. Be the process owner for establishing and setting the standards for portfolio and programme reporting processes, including the development of reporting dashboards, integrated reporting and KPIs for the overall Transmission portfolio. Work with the Digital teams on the specification and development of systems required to support Portfolio, Programme and Project Management capabilities, and coordinate with IT PMO to provide the most efficient delivery of key metrics and information. Act as the system owner of the tools that are in scope for Project Services (including: IPM, P6, Lessons Learned App and others) and ensure the training plans and materials are in place for effective use of these systems. Work cross-functionally with key functions including Finance, Procurement & Commercial and Project Management to understand key requirements and information needs, and champion development and implementation plans for systems and reporting solutions. Define, deliver and manage an integrated and efficient project performance approach across the SSEN Transmission portfolio of projects through our project gate process and supporting functions, inclusive of performance measurement and reporting, to ensure a consistent, accurate and clear reporting function to maximise performance and optimise outcomes. Extensive experience as an SME in project controls/delivery systems with a proven track record in a people leader role. Excellent stakeholder and relationship management, ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels (internal and external), gaining the collaboration and support from stakeholders in a matrix environment. Proficiency in data analysis, interrogating, challenging and making sense of complex and large data sets coupled with advanced knowledge of Power BI and other reporting tools. In depth experience and knowledge ideally gained from within utilities industry, and a thorough understanding of the systems and reporting requirements for large capital or programme delivery. Proven experience in managing the implementation of a project services ERP system, coupled with a strong understanding of portfolio and project reporting and relevant processes. About SSE
