Senior Systems Engineer Role in Timaru

This role involves direct client interaction for a customised IT service, offering competitive salary and growth prospects. Perfect for experienced Systems Engineers. What you will do: As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will deliver critical IT solutions and support to a diverse client base across the region. Your role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing client infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of systems engineering tasks including network and system design, updates, and problem resolution. This position requires regular travel within the region from Tinwald to Oamaru and into Mt Cook, facilitating face-to-face interactions that foster strong client relationships and high satisfaction levels. Skills and experience we are looking for: At least 4 years of experience as a Systems Engineer within an MSP. A wide range of technical skills and knowledge across Microsoft, Google, ERP systems, and accounting systems. Proven track record of managing multiple client accounts, prioritising their needs and delivering exceptional outcomes. Ability to articulate complex technical issues in simple terms, ensuring clarity and effective client communication. Skilled in diagnosing and resolving technical problems swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations. Capable of handling high-pressure situations calmly, ensuring client confidence and trust. Please note this role is based onsite in Timaru. The successful candidate must hold a full NZ driver's license and working rights.
