Senior Systems Engineer – Linux & HPC

Position: Senior Systems Engineer (Linux & HPC) Overview We are seeking a Linux expert to join our team as a Senior Systems Engineer, bringing in-depth knowledge of Linux, networking, and storage for large clusters. This role is ideal for an engineer with extensive experience in Compute/Networking/Storage for high-performance computing (HPC) environments, particularly with GPU clusters. You will be working with complex systems, maintaining and enhancing infrastructure for large-scale distributed systems and HPC, requiring a blend of advanced Linux skills and coding abilities beyond basic Scripting. Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, with 10 to 20 years of comparable work experience. Deep expertise in Linux-based operating systems and exposure to Compute, Networking, and Storage for large-scale clusters. Experience with HPC networking (especially beneficial if with GPU clusters) and large-scale storage solutions. Proficiency in Python and the ability to code effectively, with experience in Rust, C, or Go preferred but not required. Experience with automated build systems, software deployment, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong troubleshooting skills, with proficiency in diagnostic and tracing tools. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-departmental teams. Familiarity with distributed systems, high-performance computing, and a working knowledge of network protocols.
