As a Senior Engineer within the IT Operations Team, you will be responsible for a wide range of on-premise and cloud-based applications, systems, and services. Working to best practice standards, you will use your knowledge and experience to maintain high levels of availability and reliability and to provide expert advice and support to other staff.

The key responsibilities are: Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online/On-Prem, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and Intune Manage and maintain Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certificate enrolment verification and revocation Manage and maintain storage systems, including Storage Area Networks Investigate, diagnose, and resolve faults or problems, liaising with third parties when required Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hybrid working is available. Located in Greater Manchester (initially based in Stockport with a move to Manchester Science Park mid to late 2026).

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will have: At least 3 years of experience providing third-line support within a medium-sized organisation managing multiple technology services Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 Admin Centre Knowledge and experience of PKI Knowledge and experience of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM Strong knowledge and experience of VMWare Knowledge and experience of storage systems, including Storage Area Networks, preferably Dell Experience using a range of Linux distributions, preferably Debian-based Knowledge of information security best practices Exposure to SIEM monitoring solutions, ideally Microsoft Sentinel
