A highly acquisitive international insurance group is looking for an ambitious Senior Tax Manager to oversee their UK tax reporting, advisory & compliance matters.
The firm has a very dynamic and fast-paced environment with extensive exposure across senior management. They are looking for someone to take responsibility for the function with a heavy emphasis on the advisory element and lead the way from the get-go.
Responsibilities:
Providing advice and support on a wide range of treasury, M&A and capital contributions tax matters. Supporting the Head of Tax in any UK tax restructuring projects. Responsible for quarterly IFRS group tax reporting. Acting as technical lead for any treasury (hedge accounting) related matters. Supporting the Head of Tax in the delivery of UK tax reporting to Senior Management. Qualifications:
Accountancy and/or Tax Qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA etc.). Tax advisory, ideally linked to treasury tax. IFRS tax accounting. Prior experience working in a FS organisation. Candidates with a short notice period or immediately available will be preferred.
