TPF Recruitment is excited to be representing a well-established and friendly independent firm of Chartered Accountants, based near East Grinstead, in their search for a talented Tax Manager, Senior Tax Manager, or Tax Director. The successful candidate will have the chance to take on a key leadership role, helping to build, oversee, and further develop the firm’s tax department. You will bring your expertise in personal tax and have the opportunity to work closely with a fantastic team. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the firm’s tax department, focusing primarily on personal tax.

Provide expert advice to clients on a wide range of tax matters, ensuring compliance and identifying tax planning opportunities.

Build and nurture relationships with existing clients while assisting in growing the client base.

Lead and mentor the tax team, ensuring ongoing development and high performance.

Drive process improvements and efficiency within the department.

Play a key role in shaping the future direction of the firm’s tax services, with a clear route for progression to partner level.

Requirements

About You: We’re looking for a driven and skilled tax adviser with:

A CTA qualification (preferred), or ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in tax advisory roles.

Strong experience in personal tax, with a track record of delivering high-quality tax advice and client service.

Previous experience in a tax management role (Tax Manager, Senior Tax Manager, or Tax Director level).

A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent leadership skills.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

A commitment to continuing professional development and a desire to contribute to the firm’s growth and success.
