Bennett & Game are pleased to be working with a highly reputable accountancy practice with offices in St Ives, Sawston, and London. This 3-partner firm are recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager, or a Tax Director, to join their established team. The firm are offering a competitive salary dependant on experience, that is likely to range as high as circa £100k, hybrid working, 25 days holiday, medical insurance, bonus scheme, and free parking. They are looking to improve and expand their tax reach, and are looking for a highly experienced individual to spearhead this growth. You will be overseeing and managing a varied portfolio of clients for corporate and income taxes, serving as the main point of contact, managing a team of tax seniors and trainees, and working closely with other directors and partners to improve the practice and its services. Senior Tax Manager Job Overview Reviewing of Corporation tax computations Preparation of partnership, trust and personal tax returns Assisting with the development of trainees, including reviewing their work and providing feedback Liaising directly with clients to clear queries Liaising with third parties such as HMRC Adhering to internal and statutory deadlines Working closely with managers and other team members to complete jobs Assisting with tax planning strategies Managing a team of tax seniors and trainees Research & Development claims Contributing towards business development and client expansion

Senior Tax Manager Job Requirements CTA qualified is preferred. However, extensive experience with ACCA or ACA qualifications is also fine. 5+ years experience in practice with technical experience across all taxes. Experience managing a portfolio and being first point of contact for your clients. Experience of CCH software package preferred but not required. Able to manage your own workload effectively and efficiently. No requirement for sponsorship. Able to commute to St Ives or Sawston.

Senior Tax Manager Salary & Benefits Competitive salary, dependant on whether you are joining as a Senior Tax Manager or a Director. Likely to reach as high as circa £100k for director level role.
