We are working with a client to recruit a dedicated and driven Senior Tax Manager for an established and growing professional services firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to deliver exceptional service to a diverse and expanding client base.

The Role

This position offers a varied and dynamic workload, suitable for professionals currently specialising in tax or those with a broader accounting and tax background looking to specialise further. Full training and support will be provided to help you thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Advising and implementing corporate restructures for fast-growing businesses. Supporting owner-managed businesses with remuneration planning and succession strategies. Advising on investor reliefs, including EIS and SEIS. Offering international tax planning for globally mobile individuals and dual-resident entities. Providing tax advice on research and development initiatives. Delivering inheritance tax (IHT) and capital gains tax (CGT) planning advice for high-net-worth individuals. Building strong client relationships and delivering tailored advice. Training, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior staff members. Supporting senior team members, including Directors and Partners, with various tax-related tasks.

Requirements

If you are not CTA qualified, you must be AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified and keen to study towards CTA. Experience with personal taxes is essential and experience in other areas of tax will also be beneficial. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good IT skills. Excellent teamwork and organisational skills, including monitoring timetables and budgets. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge.

£60,000 - £70,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
