Senior Technical Analyst - Insurance Permanent Hybrid working Opportunity 2 days on site per week is required in one of the following locations: Derry, IRE or London, ENG. Due to exceptional demand from our clients and our ongoing expansion, we are seeking experienced Insurance Software professionals to join our dynamic team. Role Overview As a Technical Analyst with expertise in insurance, you will play a key role in helping insurers future-proof their business by implementing innovative software solutions that deliver seamless experiences for both insurance agents and their customers. Collaborating closely with our trusted partners and our clients' internal teams, you will address complex technical and business challenges while building strong relationships as a trusted advisor. This role is a dynamic and multifaceted position focused on delivering successful project outcomes through technical expertise, team leadership, and initiative-taking problem-solving. You will be instrumental in managing the entire lifecycle of system development and implementation, focusing on efficient configuration, seamless integration, and ongoing enhancements. Curiosity and problem-solving are at the heart of this role. You’ll thrive on getting to the root of issues to support your clients effectively. Strong communication skills both written and verbal, are essential to ensure successful collaboration and the delivery of high-quality results. Responsibilities Play a key role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of project lifecycles through hands-on system configuration and technical integration or business analysis. Lead small to medium-sized development teams, delivering high-quality results and fostering a collaborative team environment. Proactively identify potential challenges, make informed decisions, and implement strategies to mitigate risks and avoid issues. Assess and address development or design changes that impact existing functionalities and live production data. Ensure successful project outcomes by identifying risks early and providing actionable recommendations to address them. Bring professional expertise to actively contribute to and lead hands-on project delivery for clients. Develop and estimate solutions to address product gaps and implement enhancements. Enhance team performance by mentoring team members, creating opportunities for growth, and effectively managing under-performance. Guide and support teams to drive meaningful improvements across all areas of project delivery. Skills & Requirements Proficient in multiple programming languages and tools, such as Java, JavaScript, SQL, Git, AWS, Azure, HTML, and others. Skilled at simplifying complex projects, services, and processes to enhance efficiency and achieve greater outcomes with fewer resources. Solid project implementation experience. Understanding of people management strategies, with a focus on developing leaders and enabling their success. Exceptional communication skills, leveraging expertise to collaborate with key stakeholders and prioritise impactful work. Strong problem-solving abilities, with sound judgment and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of communicating technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and respect in interactions with colleagues and clients. Proven ability to mentor, lead, and inspire others, fostering their professional growth and success.
