QA Tester with Business Analysis experience
who can not only ensure software quality but also contribute to requirements gathering and user story creation. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with a strong background in QA testing who also has a keen eye for business requirements and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance (80%) Develop, execute, and maintain
manual and automated test cases
to ensure software quality.
Perform
functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing
across web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like
JIRA, TestRail, or Azure DevOps .
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve software quality.
Ensure adherence to
best testing practices, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines .
Work on API testing using
Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools .
Business Analysis (20%) Work closely with stakeholders to
gather, analyze, and document requirements .
Write
user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
to clearly define project scope.
Assist in backlog grooming and sprint planning by refining user stories and validating requirements.
Facilitate discussions between QA, development, and business teams to ensure alignment.
Participate in
impact analysis, risk assessment, and change management
activities.
Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of QA Testing experience , with a focus on manual and automation testing.
Experience in writing and executing
test plans, test cases, and defect reports .
Proficiency in test automation frameworks like
Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright .
Strong knowledge of
SQL for data validation and backend testing .
Experience with API testing
using Postman, SOAP UI, or REST Assured.
Understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and working in sprint-based development.
1+ years of Business Analysis experience , including writing
user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria .
Familiarity with
JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
for tracking and managing work.
Nice to Have Experience with
performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner .
Familiarity with
cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) .
Knowledge of security testing principles.
ISTQB or Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
