Senior Technical Specialist - IT Service Implementation Manager (12 month FTC)

The role will be responsible for ensuring any new services being delivered across product portfolios will be accepted into service by the business as usual support teams. In managing the delivery of relevant Service Documentation, the role will: Create / amend the design of support models to enable the organisation to support new or changed services. Be responsible for the service impact assessment to determine the level of service introduction required. Identify service acceptance criteria and build Early Life Support Approach and Warranty. Manage warranty period/early life support and proposed service transition plan with stakeholders and project team. Understand and communicate Service Implementation methodology gaining support for the process and drive improvement of deliverables. Drive Service Readiness Criteria across all support teams, ensuring the status and progress of actions are clear and visible to all stakeholders from Service Impact Assessment through to BAU handover. Engage and influence product management to confirm that service specific work products developed meet the acceptance criteria and are fit for purpose. Manage 3rd party delivery in support of Service Readiness activities and compliance. You will be an organised individual who will be able to drive collaboration between portfolio and service stakeholders ensuring deliverables are created in a timely manner. A strong facilitator with negotiating experience when dealing with complex issues driving the appropriate outcomes. You will be a self-starter who can lead and champion the Service Implementation Process. Strong attention to detail is key as you will be responsible for creating, amending or reviewing service and product documentation. You will be able to extract key information and formulate appropriate designs and plans when required. Have the ability to demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving. Stakeholder management is key in this role so experience of managing a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will require: ITIL V4/V3 Foundation with further qualification Lifecycle Cert in Service Transition desirable. Experience with the Implementation of Service Deliverables in a product environment. Proven experience of Project management methodologies for waterfall and agile development. Experience of working in a complex, pressurised production environment. About us
