The Medical Device Service supports users of medical equipment across all of our hospital sites within the Northern Care Alliance. You will have a key role in supporting the mechanical team's responsibility for the manufacture, maintenance, repair, and sub-contractor management of medical equipment. This will include first-line support to users of medical equipment to optimize systems uptime to gain maximum use of medical equipment. Ideally, you will possess a minimum of HNC in mechanical engineering and have relevant experience since qualifying in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge in the application and repair of a wide range of mechanical equipment used in a hospital and community is essential, although some specific training will be provided. Training and opportunities to develop will be offered at a band 5 for an appropriate candidate who does not meet all the essential criteria. Please note that, for this
