Training is provided to help balance work-life and manage time effectively, with an emphasis on communication for team touchpoints and planning in-office days for collaboration. About You We are looking for an individual who has a good understanding of some of the challenges faced relating to activities/works on the highway, along with a proven ability to manage and maintain professional relationships with all types of internal and external stakeholders, and who possess the following skills and experience: Essential Criteria: Vocational qualification or experience to level 3 or 4 Knowledge and experience of highways legislation Great communication skills Able to work effectively as part of a team Ability to make analytical reasoning and recommendations A flexible and adaptable approach supporting colleagues and others Demonstrable ability to work to set deadlines and manage own time effectively Present evidence clearly and confidently Ability to travel to sites throughout North Somerset Desirable Criteria: Be familiar with digital co-ordination software and have a good working knowledge Confirm software A full driving license Ability to interpret maps, plans and drawings A temporary traffic management qualification (ie, NRSWA, LANTRA) What We Offer At North Somerset Council, we value our employees and provide a supportive and inclusive work environment.
