What you'll do

As a Senior Technology Portfolio Manager you will be accountable for the delivery of a £10m+ portfolio of technical IT and Digital change. You will own all technical delivery for Vodafone Business' fixed product portfolio, lead on technical channel implementation for our SME segment, and lead the Wholesale technology delivery plan for Vodafone UK.
  • You will lead the successful delivery of multiple strategic portfolios and programmes & act as the key interface with Vodafone Business and Wholesale functions.
  • You will work closely with Product/Portfolio owners at Director level to report on and plan effectively the delivery of their transformational portfolios.
  • You will take ownership on compiling & owning the Technology Programme roadmap, bringing together plans across multiple project streams into one overall perspective.
  • You will ensure partner resource are set up and controlled in an effective way to deliver on the portfolio roadmap.
  • You will be responsible for governing portfolios in line with SAFe ways of working and Technology's V-TAG governance framework.
  • You will be embedding and transforming the portfolio team to implement lean governance operating models, valuing ownership, responsiveness, predictability and transparent delivery over pre-prepared project reporting.
  • You will be regularly governing our use of Azure DevOps, providing effective and consistent usage, including dashboards, plans & roadmaps.

Who you are
  • You will demonstrate a proven record of accomplishment leading large technical delivery teams with an in-depth understanding of the technologies, processes and techniques required for delivering high quality solutions within a fast-moving organisation.
  • You will be able to demonstrate experience in driving Revenue impacting deliverables.
  • You will have an understanding of the full software development lifecycle including multiple delivery methodologies with the ability to mentor, motivate and shape high performing teams.
  • You will be able to demonstrate proven experience of leadership and delivery in Technology, ideally with mobile & web platform experience.
  • You will feel comfortable in liaising with senior-level stakeholders and delivering successful change initiatives.
  • You will have ability to recruit, grow, retain, and lead a team of people helping them to realise their potential and creating the right environment for them to thrive.
  • You will preferably have experience delivering in both Waterfall and Scaled Agile environments.
