About the role With a key role in the Energy Transition, Jan De Nul Group offers specialised services for the installation of subsea structures for offshore wind construction, and the oil and gas sector. Whether it concerns offshore wind foundations, cables, wind turbines, offshore substations, subsea pipelines, umbilicals, or a complete offshore wind farm: everything is always tailored to the needs of the client and on an EPC-basis as required. Following on from winning a number of new offshore wind contracts, do you want to be part of our international team? What you'll do For this variety in Offshore activities, we are looking for experienced Tender Engineers. Mainly responsible for the solution development and price calculation on important offshore marine projects during the tender phase. Your tasks and responsibilities include: Analyse the technical feasibility of plans and tender documents Examine and compare the various execution techniques in order to arrive at a technically and commercially interesting offer Determine the overall cost for a project, after comparison and evaluation of quotations of suppliers and subcontractors Analyse the different risk factors and select the most appropriate equipment and execution method in collaboration with the Project Engineers Collaborate with colleagues of specialised in-house departments that provide stability calculations, drawings etc. What do you need to have? You will be based in the UK, with regular travel to Belgium, and with occasional visits to our sites abroad. You are a Civil/Mechanical Engineer with several years of experience in a similar and/or executive function within the offshore construction or marine sector. You are proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) with a good working knowledge of English. Your work is accurate and methodical, while creativity and passion matter just as much.
