We are actively seeking a Senior Test Engineer based in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop test plans, taking inputs from key stakeholders.

Design ATE board-level hardware for Probe and Final Test.

Debug complex software and provide clear documentation and communications.

Create reliable qualification, characterization and production test program solutions based on data sheet/SCM and design requirements.

Co-work with Product Engineering Team to approve release to production of test program solutions, by determining production readiness, using GR&R methodology.

Own and drive bench to ATE correlation exercises.

Manage external vendors and OSATs for production transfer release.

The position will report to the Test Development Manager.

Skills:

Able to work to tight and variable time scales.

Self-starter with the ability to plan and manage own workload.

Flexibility to travel to Kandou's offices, supplier, and customer locations.

Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with excellent numerical ability.

An innovative, creative, lateral thinking problem solver.

Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills.

Proficient in C++ or equivalent programming language.

Strong scripting skills using Python, PERL, Unix, etc.

ATE (V93K/Teradyne) expertise is essential.

Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (JMP, etc.) to support NPI and Production would be advantageous.

Knowledge of High-speed SERDES testing is advantageous.

Experience:

Demonstrable knowledge of continuous improvement and structured problem solving such as 8-D and other tools.

Possesses good communication and influencing skills and can communicate with ease to customers, Senior Management, and all Kandou groups.

Proven track record in Product Test engineering in a semiconductor environment/role is essential.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in any of the following is a requirement: Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
