Copello are pleased to be partnered with a global engineering and manufacturing company who specialise in the Marine sector, on the recruitment of a permanent Senior Test Engineer based in the Portsmouth area.
As part of the Test & Validation team, this role provides technical support services to perform testing and evaluation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement high quality testing plans for product testing. Create Test plans, rig allocation, rig hardware requirements. Assemble test rigs, monitor rig operations, product inspections. Draw up test hardware, such as adaptor plates and test shafts. Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Experience as a Test Engineer working within a test facility/lab. Mechanical engineering background (mechanical seals ideally) with some exposure to electrical. Ability to read technical drawings and liaise with cross-functional teams such as R&D. Ability to interpret design drawings and use CAD software to draw test hardware. Marine industry background ideally or experience in other regulated testing facilities/labs. Self-sufficient. Degree or Masters in an Engineering subject.
