Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic - Up to £43,000 - Full time - Guildford - Private Hospital Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic Private Hospital - Guildford Salary: Up to £43,000 plus benefits (depending on level of experience, training, and qualification) Overview: Join their team at The Private Hospital in Guildford as a Senior Theatre Practitioner specializing in Anaesthetic care. Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic Requirements: Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration. Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty, e.g., Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification [for scrub leads]. ENB 998 and/or mentorship course. Approved/recognized anaesthetic course. ILS. Orthopaedic skill. Mentorship qualification. ILM3. Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment. Previous experience managing and leading a clinical team. Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic Duties: Deliver safe quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care. Support, coordinate, and actively assist in the management and organization of care within the operating department. Provide quality planned care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care by ensuring all team members deliver quality patient care, providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership. Lead in the delivery of patient care during a list or specified period of time. Ensure that patient safety checks are carried out in accordance with the policy and that all practitioners adhere to the policy. Contribute to quality improvement. Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self. Promote best evidence-based practice within the scope of practice. Apply legislation, policies, and procedures correctly. Achieve agreed objectives and demonstrate behaviors aligned with the hospital's standards at all times.
