Senior Trading Manager

to join our team on a 12-month contract. Reporting to the Head of Growth and leading one direct report, this role sits at the intersection of data, finance, and marketing, offering exposure across the business with the opportunity to drive meaningful and measurable results. As Senior Trading Manager, you will oversee Gousto's trading processes, focusing on performance management and forecasting. Working closely with data, finance, marketing, and menu teams, you'll connect campaigns and initiatives to overall business performance, helping Gousto achieve its growth goals. Core Responsibilities Own and maintain the topline forecasting and reporting model, developing expertise on subscriber behaviours, orders, and revenue. Leverage internal and external data sources to understand performance drivers and trading levers. Review weekly trading performance, lead weekly trading meetings, and provide actionable insights focused on the 'so what' and 'what next.' Collaborate with Growth, Acquisition, and Finance teams to build business cases and identify trading and marketing opportunities to drive sustainable growth. Oversee weekly and monthly topline reporting and forecasting cycles. Lead the orders input for the annual budget and long-term planning cycles, using subscriber behaviour modelling and supporting related marketing costs. Influence Growth strategy by providing insights into customer lifecycle stages and behaviours, supporting Senior Growth Managers in strategy setting and implementation. Collaborate with demand and supply planning teams to align forecasts with operational processes. Participate as a key member of the Growth leads team, while managing and mentoring the Trading Manager. Who You Are Highly commercial, with a strong understanding of customer and business metrics. Confident in assumption-based modelling, applying data and commercial judgment effectively. Skilled communicator, able to summarise performance and insights for varied audiences and influence decision-making. Strong analytical skills, with a proactive and curious approach to understanding the 'how' and the 'why.' Collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally within a matrix environment. Experienced in a fast-paced scale-up environment; experience in a subscription business is beneficial but not essential. Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel and SQL.
