training to our staff members located at our

southern based sites , equipping them with the skills required to manage behaviours of concern effectively. You will also offer tailored expert advice and support to help identify strategies for supporting specific individuals when necessary. Formal interviews will be held on Monday 24th February 2025 What you'll be working: Our standard working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and the post-holder will be required to work remotely with frequent travel to ACG sites located in the south of the UK when delivering training. What you'll be doing: Deliver Maybo approved training across ACG services in line with The RRN standards, both independently and in collaboration with other trainers when required. Oversee the design and delivery of all physical intervention courses, ensuring these go ahead as planned and anticipate potential problems. Play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining a culture in which violence and aggression is reduced and managed appropriately in a manner that is effective and supportive to all concerned. Work with the training team to ensure assessment of Support Workers encourages success, is based on fair decision making, and assures the employment of a quality workforce. Deliver additional one to one and group sessions as needed to meet learner and service user needs. Work with the L&D team to develop and update training resources in line with best practice. Preparation and management of the learning environment/resources to maximise the learner experience. Establish and maintain effective working relations with service leaders and colleagues to ensure that training within each department reflects the needs of the service. Ensure all mandatory training paperwork is completed and recorded in line with company policy. Review Datix incidents and reports to ensure training reflects what is needed for the service. Contribute to annual audits and reviews as determined by the Lead Behaviour Specialist. Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights. What you'll have: Maybo qualified instructor or equivalent physical intervention. Training qualification i.e., Teaching & Assessing Award L3, Mentorship award. A minimum of 2 years’ sector experience. Ability to travel across sites and stay overnight when required (UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred). Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
