Senior Transport Planner - Basildon - Up to 40,000
A global multisite logistics company is looking for a Transport Planner to join their team in Basildon.
As Transport Planner, you will be working with a team of Planners coordinating multi-drop vehicles including pallet network. You will be planning a high number of containers throughout the week and working with subcontractors routing vehicles and containers UK wide.
Full time:
Monday to Friday - 12:00 - 20:30

Responsibilities:
Assist the manager with the smooth running of the transport team
Optimize planning for multi-stop collection & delivery routes within legal requirements
Monitor driver performance
Assist with driver booking
Book with 3rd party hauliers
Requirements:
Manager's CPC is essential
Multi-drop experience required
Excellent geographical knowledge
2 years' experience as a Transport Planner
