Responsibilities To liaise with the client to agree the project specification, the timescale, the fee and the terms of engagement; Keep the project manager informed of all financial implications and risks associated with all commissions; To liaise with the client to promptly report any issue arising during the undertaking of the project that has implications either to the brief or the timescale. Ensure that the project is undertaken to the specified budget and that all project-related fees and disbursements are accurately recorded and expediently recovered; To have a full understanding of all the tools and techniques employed within the field of highway engineering and transportation planning; To be conversant with all local and national planning policies and guidelines insofar as they relate to transportation and development; Qualifications Ideally 3 years experience within the Private Sector Relevant degree, such as geography / engineering / planning (various are applicable) or MSc in Transport Planning. Achieved membership of a relevant professional organisation Ability to use and interpret the results of Arcady, Picady, LINSIG, TRICS, AutoCAD and AutoTRACK Knowledge of GIS and micro-simulation modelling tools Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
