Your new company You will be working for a multi-academy trust based in Preston. Currently, the trust has seen over 10 schools, providing a supportive and collaborative environment for both staff and students. The trust is committed to expanding its reach and aims to grow to 20 primary schools and 3 secondary schools. This growth reflects the trust's dedication to enhancing educational opportunities and fostering academic excellence across the region.

Your new role You will be a senior IT Technician based in a high school and will be supporting 5 primary schools as well. Whether this be phone support or on-site support, you will be working with the IT business partner and central team to provide day-to-day operational support. You will be responsible for the delivery of day-to-day support of IT Services to the trust in order to facilitate pupils and staff in effective learning and cyber-safe work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the helpdesk support operates smoothly and efficiently Support the implementation of new systems and processes Support the delivery of projects across the trust Deliver training to trust staff Configure and install hardware and software

What you'll need to succeed To succeed, you will need to have a qualification in IT and experience working as an IT support service in the education sector. You will need to have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently without supervision.
