Senior Trusts &/or Major Giving Fundraiser, Surrey, c£28 – £32k DOE. Fantastic opportunity for a Fundraiser to join this well-established disability charity in Surrey to join the team at an exciting time in a capital appeal campaign. Leading and mentoring a Trusts and Foundations Executive, the charity is slightly unusually, looking for a candidate from either an experienced Trusts and Foundations Fundraising background AND / OR from a Major Donor / Major Gifts Fundraiser background; and with good reason! One of the major Trust Organisations they are working with has a very important and influential figurehead and this role will work very closely with this individual and team to develop further income streams through family members other and contacts, meaning excellent stewardship, interpersonal and communications skills are also required. We feel it would suit a sufficiently strong candidate with experience of working with Trusts and Foundations or with HNWI in Major Giving! This is a rare opportunity to develop your skills with a very warm and eager to contribute donor and prospective donors. You will comfortable in writing proposals and developing relationships for 4, 5 and 6 figure donations, with strong research skills and the ability to contribute to the overall Philanthropy strategy for growth. You can develop compelling propositions, have excellent stewardship skills in developing and deepening donor relationships. You have good IT literacy (MS Office suite), solid CRM skills (we use Raiser’s Edge but other systems experience is also acceptable) as well as ideally (but not a show-stopper!) some supervisory experience as you will line manage their Trusts Executive, organising regular 1-2-1’s, personal development plans, setting of objectives and mentoring support. Would you like to know more? You would? Great! Then for further details please e-mail us or call for an informal chat during the day or to request an out of hours conversation. Ref: MD00407. Salary is dependent upon experience with a starting salary of £28,000, however there is flexibility up to £32,000 for a suitable experienced individual (but we’d really have to have good justification for it though if you’re good enough, I’m sure you can demonstrate it!). A substantial package includes Pension, healthcare / dental scheme, retail concessions and use of fleet car for work related visits / meetings.
