The Opportunity

As a

Senior UX designer , you will be a key member of the UX/Product design team and will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products. Your mission will be to create exceptional and consistent user experiences across our product portfolio and deliver innovative, accessible, and beautiful digital products that delight and empower users.

Alongside other UX designers, engineers, and product managers, you will be working with us at an exciting time. We are reshaping the “PropTech” market, driving new ways of thinking and operating to all stages of the property journey, from Estate Agents to solicitors to surveyors.

You will be helping us build the market leading CX and UX for multiple businesses and brands. Optimising UX through both traditional approaches of design, but also integration of modern data and AI technologies to bring services and solutions to market which truly delight our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

Taking the design lead on key projects in one of our development tribes, from research to prototyping to testing and delivery

Collaborating with product managers, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals

Creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and UI specifications

Conducting user research and usability testing to validate design decisions

Applying best practices and standards for accessibility, usability, responsiveness, performance

Communicating design rationale and presenting design solutions to internal teams and clients

Contributing to design culture and UX maturity across the business

Utilising, qualitative and quantitative metrics and data to support design decisions and iteratively evolve products in the right direction

Growing our design system and helping shape our approach to UX design & research

What you’ll need:

5+ years of experience as a UX designer, Product designer or similar role

A passion and drive for solving complex problems

Experience conducting design research, from creating research plans to running moderated interviews, analysis and synthesis.

A strong portfolio of projects that demonstrate your skills and process

Excellent visual and interactive design skills, you’re a natural in prototyping tools such as Figma

End-to-end design experience, you are comfortable working across research, ideation, testing and delivery

An understanding of design systems, component design and modern UI workflows

Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and experience working in a collaborative environment

Ability to work autonomously and take complete ownership of end-to-end product design

Excellent communication skills, you can confidently express ideas and reasoning to stakeholders
