Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, are very excited to be working with a Global business who are looking for a VAT Accountant to support Europe and UK areas of the business. This is a full-time permanent position.
Responsibilities: Responsible for preparation of all UK & European VAT returns Balance Sheet reconciliations Improve VAT transaction & correction processes to comply with legislative requirements Build relationships with indirect tax advisors to ensure returns are submitted Supporting Shared Service Centre and sites with indirect tax advice Improvement of existing processes and identification of process and system enhancements and efficiencies What will you need to be successful in this role? VAT accounting experience Experience of SAP essential Ideally degree educated (or similar) in business, accounting, management Strong attention to detail Ability to build relationships with UK & European stakeholders What will you get in return?
