Senior / Lead Vehicle Technician - Chelmsford
A Senior Vehicle Technician opportunity to lead the maintenance and repair of a fleet of vehicles in Chelmsford.
Supported by the team of Technicians and supporting the Fleet Manager, the Senior Vehicle Technician will be focused on diagnostic repair while mentoring the technicians servicing and repairing a fleet of some 80 cars, LCV pickups, and vans.
The entire team is focused to ensure the fleet is safe and active to the very best levels. In addition, helping the business owner on his classic car hobby will occasionally be requested!
Salary:
Available in the £35,000 to £45,000 range, plus bonus and overtime.
Working Environment:
Fleet maintenance, not dealer nor autocentre etc. Cars, light commercials, and vans. Monday to Friday.
The Senior Vehicle Technician will be highly experienced and able to work under their own initiative. In addition to several years of experience, the Technician will ideally possess relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds.
Working from a dedicated department with ramp, equipment, and budget, the vehicle maintenance team will be supported and motivated to provide a dedicated, effective, and efficient service.
