Senior Web Officer needed in Preston Paying £20.02 per hr Ref 1408175

Full time hrs on a temporary basis

Key responsibilities include:

The post holder will apply judgment and analysis to identify solutions for various web projects, collaborating with colleagues and acting as the web representative on matrix groups. They will work with multiple services to provide expertise and support effective communications through web channels, proactively questioning decisions and identifying potential issues. Responsibilities include:

Project Management : Plan, deliver, and evaluate digital communication projects to meet service requirements.

Reputation Management : Generate digital solutions to enhance the organization’s reputation.

Technical Support : Provide specialised technical and analytical support for complex digital solutions.

Content Development : Manage web communication channels and develop digital content.

Performance Monitoring : Collaborate with communications managers to ensure measurable outcomes and project objectives.

Continuous Improvement : Suggest enhancements to communication methods and represent the service in key meetings.

User Engagement : Engage with internal and external users to achieve communication goals and manage online reputation.

Cost Efficiency : Identify cost-saving opportunities and advise on digital solutions for operational challenges.

Training and Mentoring : Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff.

Skills and Experience Required:

Relevant vocational or professional qualification with broad experience.

Knowledge of web communication processes, usability, and user experience.

Strong analytical, project management, and writing skills.

Ability to influence others and build effective relationships.

Experience with content management systems and technical problem-solving.
