Senior/Lead Engineer Fully Remote Salary Range: 60-70k Would you like to contribute towards Tech4Good projects making a difference across the UK? I'm working with an established consultancy who truly care about their employees & customers! They work across a range of innovative projects, predominantly focused in the Tech4Good sector. They're now looking for a new Senior or Lead Engineer to join the business as they continue to grow. A Lead Engineer to them is someone who can provide technical leadership to other members within a project team, ensuring the project remains on track and is completed to a high caliber (you won't do any management activities such as line managing people or one-to-ones, etc., this is a technical role). From a skills perspective, you'll be comfortable across the JavaScript stack, potentially with a slight lean towards the frontend, being a specialist in either Vue.js or React. You'll also be comfortable scoping requirements with clients & regularly communicating with those clients. This is a small consultancy that advocates for a positive working environment and work-life balance, which is absolutely imperative to them. They find being fully remote really works for them, and they are passionate about people getting satisfaction from their work! If you want to work in a positive environment, with great work-life balance and contribute towards impactful projects for society, get in touch ASAP! What you'll need

Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js & React or Vue.js) Ideally strong expertise across both backend & frontend development (a slight frontend-lean would be a bonus!) Comfortable setting up databases, working across DevOps and deploying onto the cloud The depth of experience to support & mentor more junior members of the team, conducting code reviews & acting as the point of quality control on the projects that you lead Highly capable of taking & scoping client requirements Experience working in a consultancy environment would be advantageous but not essential Highly comfortable working in a fully remote role Click the 'apply' button now to find out some more!
