We are seeking an experienced environmental planner to join our growing Environmental & Sustainability team to deliver complex and rewarding projects across a range of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and development. Our team currently has 15 passionate, open-minded, and experienced professionals across the UK offices. This role involves leading and delivering environmental planning and sustainability projects, including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) processes, risk management, design input, coordinating interdisciplinary teams, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in leading projects with opportunities across multiple UK sectors, including energy, water, and sustainability.
As a consultant in environmental assessment and management, you will provide invaluable advice to our clients, develop relationships, and elevate and influence the technical delivery within the Environmental & Sustainability team.
This role is an opportunity to engage and lead a wide range of in-house technical experts and designers and work on large, complex, and rewarding projects to deliver environmental and sustainability objectives.
As part of your role, you will be able to mentor less experienced employees as well as participate in our 'reverse-mentoring' programme to meet and mentor a member of the senior management team in the company.

Qualifications: Project experience assisting, coordinating and leading EIAs and/or SEAs. A degree in Environmental Science, or a related field. Relevant professional membership/qualifications. Strong understanding of UK environmental legislation and EIA processes. Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects, meet deadlines and budgets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Client relationship management and work-winning experience. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for sustainability. A willingness to travel to meet and support our teams and clients across the UK. What We Offer:
