Senior/Principal Planning Lawyer
on a
locum
basis for an initial 6-month period, with the potential for extension depending on performance, project needs and permanent recruitment. Requirements: Qualified Lawyer, with a valid practising certificate in the UK Specialism within Planning Law, with experience of practising post-qualification Experience in management is advantageous Experience working within local authorities, or for a public sector organisation Duties/Responsibilities: Advising the clients of the organisation on all aspects of Planning Law and providing representation when necessary Advising on all areas of Planning Law, including rural and suburban planning Attending and representing the Council in evening Committees three times a month Advising officers and members in a proactive and sensitive manner Mentoring and training less experienced team members Deputising for heads of legal and other principal lawyers when necessary If you are interested in this
