you will: Support the implementation of the SEO to improve our organic traffic and impressions on Google for key search terms. Review and optimise all onsite content to target primary and secondary keywords and support the SEO strategy, adhering to SEO best practices across all content production. Carry out research where necessary in order to inform content creation or to provide insight to the wider business. Monitor and work to improve organic keyword rankings. Identify opportunities within existing categories and pages for restructures as well as identifying new categories and pages that will help us have more relevant pages ranking for high value search terms to reduce bounce and exit rates and increase revenue. Monitor and keep up with the ever-changing SEO landscape to ensure our strategy is effective and compliant with search engine algorithms updates. Be responsible for producing blog content working closely with the Marketing team to make sure campaigns are aligned as well as ensuring they are SEO optimised. Support the wider e-commerce and marketing departments with ad hoc copywriting requests, including but not limited to web banners and email marketing campaign copy. Embrace the value of “Defying Ordinary” by driving continued and relentless improvement and innovation within the affiliate marketing department. The Team The role sits within the larger Ecommerce department and will involve working extremely closely with the wider team, SEO agency and merchandising teams to make sure the website is fully optimised for high value search terms supporting key product and category growth. The role will be supporting our current SEO Copywriting Lead working on a wide variety of tasks including updating the optimisation of onsite content, blog creation and delivery of technical SEO updates. You will also be working alongside our Trading and insights teams to help gather key insights to influence and optimise our customer-focused digital projects. About You You will have proven experience as an SEO Executive or similar role, preferably within the Fashion or Retail industry. Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and SEO tools would be advantageous. Being able to look analytically at things and create problem-solving solutions is a real strength we look for in this area alongside standard attention to detail and communication skills. Diversity We recognise and value the importance of diversity to help make sure we have lots of different perspectives when we are providing service to our colleagues and customers. We know that this will help us build a great service, which our customers will love. This is great news for our business. Diversity for us is also, importantly, about building happy teams full of people that want to learn and want to be inspired by each other and our different experiences. Recruitment Process We’ll help make the interview process as transparent and stress-free as possible. We review applications individually, and if we feel you would be a good fit, we’ll invite you for a call or Teams video for an informal chat about the role and to see if we’re a good fit for you. We value open and honest conversations and collaboration, allowing you to learn about our work in an informal and friendly environment. We want to know about you and why you feel this is your opportunity. Please note this is not a remote role, and we expect that you will be able to attend Head Office in a hybrid way in Greater Manchester.
