SEO Specialist Location: London, ENG, GB, N1C 4AG Brand: RS Function: Marketing Work Location: Hybrid As part of the RSSEO team, we are driving commercial performance and brand awareness through visibility on SERP (Search Engine Results Page) within 32 markets. Over the course of the last 18 months, RS has brought SEO activities in-house with the aim of embedding SEO across the organisation, delivering value and positioning the function in such a way to create a strategic advantage over our competitors. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this team will set clear SEO goals, optimisation directions, and collaboratively drive successful outcomes with stakeholders. Our increased SEO maturity will set a new industry standard for SEO operational excellence. What you will be doing: Working as an SEO Specialist, you will own the local keyword research, keyword mapping and maintenance processes, while supporting the management of SEO performance dashboard and opportunity analysis. You will take ownership of performance in the local market. Be aware of performance fluctuations, market trends, local market macro factors and other aspects that could impact commercial changes, while also owning the metadata optimisation process, providing optimisation support to content and link building teams. Delivering and supporting robust analyses to understand and prioritise commercial opportunities based on demand size, growth trend, potential increase in traffic and revenue and return on investment and create a strong relationship with your local market and drive accurate local language insights and SEO optimisation. What do I need to be successful? You have experience in SEO optimisations for improving SERP results. Fluent or full professional proficiency in French language. You are comfortable analysing SEO data. You have the ability to explain SEO stories to non-technical audiences and influence actions. You have project management skills. You can use some of the SEO tools such as BrightEdge, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Adobe, and PowerBI. Ecommerce experience is essential, preferably in a B2B setting is desirable. Experience in an enterprise size SEO team. Experience working within an enterprise, matrix style organisation. Proven track record working across different search intent and content types. A customer first mindset. The ability to be customer centric and consider audience personas and how they align to the digital experience.
